Introduction of the BLUE-TEK™ UV Cured CIPP System in Europe.
By combining a unique, patented manufacturing technology with an advanced, fiberglass reinforced UV cured resin material, Brandenburger first introduced the BLUE-TEK™ liner system in Germany in the early 1990s. Due to its superior properties (4-6 times stronger than felt CIPP products) and its unparalleled high quality, the BLUE-TEK™ CIPP system achieved almost immediate market success in Europe which quickly extended abroad into other countries. To date, over 10 million feet of the BLUE-TEK™ CIPP has been manufactured, sold and installed in over 27 countries worldwide.
Establishment and Success of the BLUE-TEK™ UV Cured CIPP System in the US.
In 2006 several improvements were introduced to the BLUE-TEK™ CIPP system including higher energy UV lamps and more advanced UV curing electronic controls. During that same year, Reline America, Inc., in Saltville, Virginia, became established as an exclusive North American partner for manufacturing the BLUE-TEK™ CIPP liner and UV curing equipment.

Liner Technology - Reline America, Inc. Cured-in-Place-Pipe Lining Innovative Technology and Applications
The Situation:
Damaged sewers, stormwater pipes, water lines and other underground piping systems pose a threat to the environment and cause enormous costs to maintain. When contaminated water enters groundwater and leaks into storm sewers, it results in contaminated waterways.
The Solution:
Reline America, Inc.® offers a unique and innovative pipe-lining procedure by way of the ultraviolet curing system. This procedure can line pipes 6" to 48" in diameter. Its ease of handling does not require job site mixing of chemicals or excavation, thus making it possible to rehabilitate damaged lines in hard-to-reach areas.
This procedure has been used to successfully rehabilitate approximately 10 million feet of sewers in more than 27 countries worldwide.
- Line pipes up to 48" in diameter
- Ultra-violet cured on site so no refrigeration is needed as with thermally cured products
- No raw materials or resin drain to deal with on site
- Computerized monitored installation
- Relined pipe has an expected 50+ years service life

"My advice to other municipalities would be to do your homework, and look at the other technologies out there, but I believe you will find that Reline America will stand out above the rest. Reline America is the solution to our infiltration problems..."
John Vilga, Lancaster Area Sewer Authority
"All of the product is in the lining (impregnated during the manufacturing process) so there is no way for the product to leach out into the surrounding groundwater or into the pipes. It won’t end up in your pumps or someplace else you would have to clean it out of later which are some of the horror stories we have heard about some other types of products.
